What started as the nearly lone beach side restaurant on Kudle Beach in 1999, grew very slowly into a shack accommodation made
of coconut fronds with shared toilets that we used to charge ₹20-₹25 per day, and progressively on to the simple but more comfortable accommodation
than the humble start. It was in 2006 that we started Sea View, made it bigger and better, but yet simplicity was and is still the essence. The
focus is on having affordable and simple accommodations right next to the beach. It was in 2012 that the owner, a native of Gokarna, built a house
for himself on top of the Kudle Hill. Very soon after, the guests started asking if they could share the space of his home, and use one of the rooms
as their accommodations, as it was a super convenient location, that was near enough for easy accessibility, while also being at enough of a distance
to allow for some time off from the buzz of the beach or the village.
